Bio

Lizzy (I) was a full blown drama kid and spent her early years on the stage doing her best to crack up audiences (her biggest success was her Tina Turner inspired performance at 10 years old). When her family invested in a video camera, she fell in love with filmmaking, making short films and eventually documenting the rave scene as a teenager (where she spent a lot of her time). With her heart set on filmmaking, she moved from NZ to Melbourne to study at VCA.
She’s no nepo baby - after graduating she worked across various production roles before stepping into directing nine years ago. She brings this production experience to every project, along with a keen eye and love for performance. Before directing, she spent several years working under comedy director Tony Rogers, where she learned how to work with actors on the other side of the camera.
She’s (I've) directed for brands including Google, Netflix, M&Ms, NAB, Citibank and Panadol, collaborating with agencies like M&C Saatchi, 72andsunny, Leo Burnett and The Royals.
Currently, she’s (I'm) available to direct either freelance or through production companies across Melbourne, Sydney, Perth and Auckland.
Let’s make something fun together!
