Bio
Lizzy spent her early years on the stage doing her best to crack up audiences (her biggest success was her Tina Turner inspired performance). And when her family got a video camera at age 11, she fell in love with filmmaking and consequently spent her teenage years making short films and documenting the rave scene.
That love lead her to study film in her hometown, Christchurch New Zealand, before moving to Melbourne to study documentary at VCA.
After graduating, she worked various production roles and spent years as a director's assistant for some of Australia's top directors before moving into directing ten years ago. She draws on her education in documentary alongside her experience as an actor when working on any campaign, looking for subtle human nuances that make a story feel genuine.
Lizzy has directed for Google, Netflix, Vodafone, M&Ms, NAB, Citibank and Panadol, working with agencies like M&C Saatchi, 72andsunny, Leo Burnett and The Royals. She's available through production companies across Melbourne, Sydney, Perth and Auckland... or direct with clients and agencies.
